From the time I could walk I have had a deep passion for animals. When I was 16 I got my first job at a barn taking care of retired horses. I then moved on to a career in funeral directing but after a short time doing that I knew that animals was my one true calling. So I quit my job at APS and became a dog bather, then groomer, then salon manager over a 7 year period. I had a vision of the freedom to create a wonderful work environment and customer experience of my own, where I could guarantee the best quality and care that every furry friend deserves. I am now the proud owner of "Groovy Grooms Doggy Spa" in Abilene, TX! I never get tired of being around pets and I'm so fortunate to be following my dreams and doing what I love.
